In the last picture here we had removed a section after 15 hours of cure time.

This section was re applied…. cured… and currently on the road getting some abuse.

The cured film is pretty tough….. In my opinion its perfect for love bug season to protect your paint as well as many other benefits.

Just recently completed this BMW 335i with 70,000 miles. The car was pretty severely damaged with large amounts of scratches and swirls. There was a lot of wear and tear on this vehicle but I was able to bring some life back to it!

So here we go! The car as it was when I had got started on it in the morning.

Beautiful Blue, isn’t it. Wish I could have seen it the next day…

Here we some Sonax wheel cleaner eating away at the iron and metallic contaminates from brake dust and road debris before the washing commenced.

In the next few pics is how the paint looked prior to the service.

Again… I really wish I had some after shots the next day.

Hopefully we can get the basic idea out of these next few shots….

Getting started with any Aston Martin I removed the mesh grills from the bonnet to get the old paste wax and other polishing crud cleaned out. Also helps with the correction process in being more precise around these areas.

As you can also see in the image above the microfiber towel laying over the engine that will keep it clean from any polishing dust…. Didn’t want to wipe the motor down again…. As it was just cleaned.

In the 50/50 below we will see the amount of correction that was achieved to the paint… and about the best understanding of this detail due to the lack of pictures taken…. my bad….

And so the process around the car went…… Moving on.

Interior Detail

Cleaned and protected. A lot of leather in these cars. so here is some 50/50′s on a few of the pieces. Cleaned with Leather cleaner and a soft brush of the best kind.

Making white look white again!

And the doors… a 50/50 The darker side is the area that still needs to be cleaned. The lighter side is showing the material clean and the way it should look.

And…. BOOM! Clean and Proper!!!

  This 993 was quoted a couple days a head. At first time laying eye’s on this car I had nothing but excitement to get started on the detail! Taking a few measurements of the paint and going over the whole car during the quote I got a few goose bumps! A vehicle with this kind of age and seeing that it’s never been machine polished is a real treat. Giving the car was still in rough shape made “not” much of a difference on how we felt about it! Yeah the paint wasn’t in the greatest shape… but that didn’t mean the car was bad… This Porsche was in excellent shape once you look past a few little things!

  Machine polishing a vehicle like this and of this age for the very first time… A lot of preservation factors come into play. In saying, we had a great team lined up to tackle this job with the utmost care and talent being provided to it. The whole car was Swissvax treated from the inside out! “Of Course”

  We removed headlights, taillights and exterior side mirrors as well as removing the rear Carrera badge for full and through exterior detailing. Using Swissvax Strong, Medium and Professional paint correction polishes to pull the life back into this beautiful 1996!

Here is a close up of the aged paint we were dealing with.

As you can see… a serious lack of luster.

At this point many man hours have gone into the Paint Correction and cleaning details.

Before putting back on the headlights back on we did a bit of lens cleaning! Here is a before and after from the inside of the headlight lens!

Finishing up on some of the details while putting everything back together with Swissvax Nano Express.

  Being a new car purchase the car had to be completely decontaminated through the wash and prep process. Then followed up with a single step polish with Sonax Perfect Finish to bring the best out of the paint.

The customer and I also decided to De-badge the car for full coverage. Using some fishing string to pull the emblem off safely and in one piece.

Here is some 50/50′s to show the improvement with the polishing…. To get the most out of the paint.

You can see a slight line separating the before and after… after on the bottom side, showing the richness and flake in the paint.

This ones a bit blurry but showing more of the dullness in the paint.

Above is some of the very light scratches that needed to be handled before sealing…

Below, defect free and nice reflection.

And another area… side mirrors that needed some attention. These water etching spots can easily be cause from sitting on dealer lots being unprotected and subjected to earths natural fall out.

All the trim was cleaned then protected with VR1 Trim Coating and Restorer / 22PLE

In the pictures below you can see the 22PLE coating applied but not yet wiped down. (22PLE must set on the paint for 3-8 min before removing) Then lightly buffed off with a new and clean microfiber towel.

Here in the pictures below I’ll take a small wipe with my finger (just to show some of the thickness) This spot was recovered after taking the picture…. of course.

After the treatment and some proper cure time… she was ready to go! This Honda is now ready to go safe from all elements for a great deal of time! Such a great way to get started with a new car purchase. Treatments like this provide confidence even when it gets dirty in knowing that its 100% protected.
