I recently completed this two day detail on a Porsche Carrera S. The black paint was in need of correction to get the car looking it’s best. It was a great change from the cars and emphasized just as much effort and time as a car to complete. The detail was around 20 hours and received 22PLE coating to the chrome and trim. Today’s clean up on two Porsche’s. Track ready GT3′s, wiped down and slightly polished up. Now ready for Car’s and Coffee this weekend to display…. Then back out to the track!
Track cars need that special attention as well and added protection. They may require a different sort of detail than the normal daily… But like any other, they still benefit whether they’re wrapped or not. Helping to make the clean up after track day a bit easier.
For these two today…. the front nose clips and window’s needed some extra attention. We’ve heard guys are cleaning up rubber debris and other track types of tar with WD-40. “NOT HERE.” We know WD40 has its place… But, we’ll keep car care products on the clean up shelf for today. The polishing on these two cars today was done with Swissvax Cleaner Fluid and a foam polishing pad. Swissvax Cleaner Fluid is great for this. And safe on all paint…. Unlike WD40 that will act as a UV enhancer when back out in the sun if not properly cleaned off fully. From this detailers recommendation to keep vehicles unharmed…. “to a degree with track cars” Here it is!!! “As my tip for today.”d

3M has designed a product called 3M Paint Defender. A spray on clear film designed to last up to a year. Giving our situation in Florida with the seasonal love bugs… I don’t believe a full year is accomplish able? (Cars commuting at low miles may get that one year of protection) We have been testing this film, and so far… we are happy with what we’re seeing.

Just recently completed this BMW 335i with 70,000 miles. The car was pretty severely damaged with large amounts of scratches and swirls. There was a lot of wear and tear on this vehicle but I was able to bring some life back to it!
Here was a detail from a while back….. a GT500 Mustang that came in for 22PLE Treatment. The car required a decent amount of correction to the paint before laying glass coating. The Stang was thoroughly washed and decontaminated, masked off, polished out and treated with a semi permanent coating…. “22PLE” to the paint, wheels, metal and trim.

This detail took place in the West Palm Beach area of Florida. A 15 hr detail, covering as much as could be covered in one shot. This car received a full interior detail and about 90% correction to the paint was achieved. The paint was a bit finicky in some areas but still came out looking great. No cool after shots or sun shots of this one as it was super late when the car was finished.

We recently had a New Car Prep and 22PLE Glass Coating Treatment right before the Holidays. This vehicle came from Daytona to our facility in Orlando for a two and a half day stay treatment. This Honda had just under 1000 miles on it as it was a new purchase. The customer and I shared some emails a couple several weeks before to get this car started off on the right track for vehicle protection.

This was a 25 hour detail and Paint Correction. One of the most beautiful reds for any Ferrari, “Rosso Corsa”! The paint was fully corrected with Scholl’s Polishes from Esoteric Car Care. After correction the paint was topped off with a developmental Swissvax Wax from Swissvax.us! The trim on this awesome 499 production car was treated and protected with 22PLE VR1. The wheels where protected with “Wolfs Rim Shield” from DetailersDomain.

This 2013 Ford Focus ST received a New Car Prep along with a full 22PLE Treatment. The detail started with a wash and full decontamination. The wheels were removed and coated inside and out with VM1 Metal and Wheels Coating, as well as the pretty cool tail pipe on this car. (designed to withstand high temperatures) The paint received a single step polish with Sonax Perfect Finish to get the most of this beautiful color to “pop” and really stand out. VX1 Pro Glass Coating (for all paint finishes) was then applied. Finishing up the exterior of the vehicle with VR1 Trim Restore and Coating (for all plastic trim) and BOOM!!! Fully protected brand new car!!!

First car to be done in our new shop!!!
An extensive Paint Correction on a Jaguar XKR. A little over 20 hours of correction time using M105 and Meg’s Cutting Disc. (3″ & 5″) Followed up with Scholl’s S30+ with Meg’s Finishing Disc. I found this to be a great combination for this soft body Jag. Then the car was gone over with Swissvax Cleaner Fluid and topped off with a very wonderful developmental wax from Swissvax USA. All the exterior trim was coated with 22PLE, VR1 Signature Trim and Plastic Restorer.

Its always sad to see a vehicle that has been cared for for so long go.
After almost five years of tending to this Lotus Esprit’s good looks…. Its come time to be passed on. Like most exotics, they get passed on from one privileged owner to the next. As far as myself “The Detailer of this car” It saddens me. This one will be leaving the state and may be a long time before I see it again. Before walking away from it and after one last detail, I grabbed some final pics to share!

Recently had the pleasure of correcting this rather newish Aston Martin DBS carbon black edition! This was an exterior detail to remove scratches and swirls and some of the factory D/A wet sand rids. Yes, only some… the entire bonnet and front bumper is covered with clear film and thought it would be best to get a little more life out of it before removing it. The clear film did however need a bit of correction on it as well. Swissvax Shield Wax was the choice of protection in this detail!!! A great choice of wax for a car that gets used regularly! And “I must say”… It looks Phenomenal!!! The DBS also got some great protection to the convertible top! Overall time on this car was around 12 hours.

Ferrari F40 Single Stage Paint & Hood, Deck Lid Reconditioning.
So much was done to this Ferrari F40 a little while back. A 20 year old car getting its first professional detail and going through every inch of it… Much was done to preserve this super rare car for the years to come! A few weeks back I had the privilege to detail two Shelby Mustang GT350′s! One of them was signed on the dash by Carroll Shelby, himself! The rest of his team had also signed the inside trunk lid! Both cars were fully corrected over 6 days time! Here is a few shots for now! We’ll have more coming later on these two beauties!

A recent detail done in Dec. of 2011!!! The Porsche received a full Swissvax treatment on the paint work and was topped off with a developmental Swissvax wax. Total time for the detail was around 15-16 hours and has more to come in the near future!!! Well the near future has come!!! The car has had a few pairs of new wheels since… but when revisiting it, she was wearing the stock wheels. Some proper attention was paid to the new front and rear clips. Other than that, pretty basic detail. Interior, Leather treatment, exterior, and trim! Just a few quick pics!!! Enjoy and Thanks Viewing!!!

“goldRush Rally” Destination Miami!!!!
Aerodynamics are for people who can’t build engines.
We presented two teaser shots of this detail a few weeks ago…. Better late than never for a car that has been re-born again!!! This Ferrari 599 came out better than anyone could have anticipated! The first step ADV.1Wheels took in this project was the detail!!! The guys called me up and asked me to perform some magic to this new beast! The paint was in pretty poor shape and needed close to 2 lbs of clear bra removed…. The car was delivered to a location in Miami where I would have the car for a total of 5 days to getting looking its best!
What an experience to be able to detail a world icon vehicle! It really doesn’t get much better in my book! And to have Peter…. “an outstanding photographer” accompanies me… “Blessed” to say the least!
Most of you may know how great this car is! But for the ones who don’t know… There was only 1,315 made world wide through the years of 1987 to 1992. The vehicle was made with weight in mind and to save some, Ferrari shot the car with single stage paint with only one coat. With that being said… It would be to my knowledge… The F40’s and F50’s of the world would be some of the most difficult cars to perform a paint correction detail to.
