Porsche BoxsterS – Protected with Swissvax Shield – D/A Microfiber Cutting Pads write up!

This customer of mine for many years now has owned and taking very good care of this car. This vehicle is not in horrible shape, but ready for an annual detail. So it was set up on a day were I would have enough time for some proper TLC! Not that it doesn’t get it all the time as this car is washed by the customer and myself regularly.

With a semi new product out (The new Meguiar’s DA Microfiber Cutting Disc Buffing Pad) in various sizes, I decided to give them a shot.  After a little practice on a previous vehicle I was ready to work this car all the way out with them. I have to say this is and excellent product number 1 and can give just about anybody the ability of feeling like a pro. If thinking about doing a little more to your vehicle than the norm or considering going into the detailing business this is where you want to start. These pads are in my opinion a much safer practice if your not ready to handle a buffer. These pads are designed for a D/A polishing machine, not rotary. Also I believe the pads will last a bit longer than the traditional foam pads and much easier to clean. A bit of practice with these pads and a knowledge of pattern and technic can turn you into a pro in no time!
